Ed Roman - Tomorrow Is Today

After seeing success in his homeland of Canada and being featured as one of Billboard Magazine’s ‘Emerging Artists’ in 2018, the blues-rocker has seen his music played on over 600 radio stations worldwide.

Amongst this success, Roman’s animated music video for ‘Red Omen’ has been featured in numerous film festivals, humbly creating funds for Whole Dyslexic Foundation.

‘Tomorrow Is Today’ holds an unmistakable distinguished rock atmosphere, conjuring similar auras to that of Pearl Jam and Early Foo Fighters. A dramatic intro of hard-hitting beats and chunky electric power chords brings the track’s excitement to life. Roman’s vocals certainly have the gritty edge needed for the genre of music, allowing clear, assertive vocal lines throughout the verse that build vigorously when creating impact.

The choruses sway in a ‘poppier’ direction, creating a higher level of accessibility whilst simultaneously showcasing Ed Roman’s adaptability. The varying style from the verse gives the song a stronger level of versatility which is continued into the guitar solo. Instead of opting for a typical driven guitar solo, the track features a charged synthesised take the lead instead.

‘Tomorrow Is Today’ presents a lusciously diverse pick ‘n’ mix of genre, incorporating a heavy nod to the hard-core elements of the past whilst adapting its style to blend with a more modern approach. Check it out below!
